Kim Kardashian set the internet on fire this week when she stripped for a magazine cover…even though it’s nothing we haven’t all seen already. Her attempt to #BreakTheInternet is something sneakerheads can relate to, as it occurs quite frequently.
If you’ve ever tried to buy a highly sought after pair of sneakers on the internet, you understand the struggle. You can click all you want, but it’s only a matter of time until you’re staring at that damned spinning refresh wheel, or Foot Locker’s ‘The House Is Rockin’ message.
The recent need to #BreakTheInternet has us thinking of some general release retro Jordans that would snap the internet in half at 8am EST on a Saturday morning if they were to re-release.
The Air Jordan 11 just might be the most popular Jordan silhouette, and the ‘Space Jam’ colorway is a fan favorite for sure. The iconic kicks were retro’d back in 2009 and a re-release would #BreakTheInternet faster than Kim Kardashian could drop the towel around her waist.
The Space Jams are a tough find, and aren’t currently in stock at the World’s #1 sneaker marketplace, Flight Club. If you are lucky enough to find an authentic pair the price would be steep, but for some it’d be worth it… UnlessJordan Brand has plans to break the internet in the near future.
