The “Firecrackers” proceed. An after quite a while, Lil Wayne gives flexibility a chance to ring on his fourth of July-propelled EP In Tune We Trust.

The four tracks incorporate his remix to Playboi Carti’s “Magnolia,” alongside coordinated efforts with Jeezy, Gudda, HoodyBaby, Jay Jones, and Euro, in addition to creation from Mike WiLL Made-It, Rio, Kamo, and Kaliphat.

On “Magnolia,” Wayne proceeds with his continuous fight with Birdman and Cash Money while bigging up JAY-Z and Soulja Slim. “Sit tight for Carter V to drop,” he raps. “It’s the Roc/I’m hurling the Roc/I ain’t from Magnolia yet Tunechi still a warrior/And rest in peace to Soulja, ’cause he was genuine Magnolia.”

Taking to Instagram, Wayne disclosed why he chose to drop this EP now. “I’m STILL attempting to battle for my Independence, however, today Im saying Fuk it and giving every one of my fans some new music,” he composed. “A debt of gratitude is in order for being there and quietly holding up while I bear this.”
